If it's not clear from the post; while I think it's fun, I am mostly intending to play WildStar to fill a gap in gaming time. If there were something better out there right now in my estimation, I would play that instead. I can understand the reluctance of others to plunk down the money. But if it's not fun now, it probably won't be any better in year.rowanblazehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06820814610269599162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4765136501328523372.post-33654423846416801412014-05-27T11:00:39.586-05:002014-05-27T11:00:39.586-05:00I am bowing out of this game, I think I'm just...I am bowing out of this game, I think I'm just so jaded and sick of plunking down 50-60 bucks and sub for a game that will be free to play in a year. Landmark will probably officially launch by then, too.

Thanks for your comments. :) rowanblazehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06820814610269599162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4765136501328523372.post-88596022643280424412014-05-26T17:01:28.882-05:002014-05-26T17:01:28.882-05:00I rather like the tongue in cheek aspect of the ga...I rather like the tongue in cheek aspect of the game. It's very much like Brutal Legends, or even Overlord. The new Wolfenstein does that too. When it knows the tropes and sort of revels in them.

As for the lore, I've seen more in the first few zones (up to the capital) than in any other game in memory, outside perhaps TSW. The thing is, the game is designed to be consumed in small chunks by those who want to explore. There is plenty of lore if you look for it. If you don't, then you're probably never going to notice.

I'm skeptical but still interested. I'm trying to think of another subscription based AAA MMO on the way and my mind draws blank. Will be interesting to see the field in the fall.Asmirothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09769824275250465235noreply@blogger.com
